Ashford dad takes on sea swim challenge for Mental Health UK An Ashford dad is taking the plunge as he seeks to raise money for charity. Willesborough resident Max Smith is swimming in the sea for 90 consecutive days to raise money for Mental Health UK. Max Smith is raising money for Mental Health UK The 29-year-old Network Rail worker said he was hoping to raise a few pennies for the charity while also helping his own state of mind. He said: With the world in its current state, mental health is more important than ever before. There are so many people struggling with all types of mental health, and I for one have struggled particularly bad the last year or so.
